Megan Williams is a Senior Consultant at Marsden and an experienced in-house legal recruiter specialising in Financial Services and Data Privacy, with more than 10 years’ experience.  She partners with clients across FTSE 100 corporations, mid-sized businesses, and high-growth fintechs to hire outstanding General Counsel, Heads of Legal, and specialist lawyers who combine technical excellence with commercial insight.

Known for her hands-on, relationship-driven approach, Megan takes the time to understand each client’s strategic priorities and every candidate’s career goals, ensuring every placement is the right long-term fit. Her experience spans financial services, technology, shipping, and professional services, and she is recognised for her honest advice, market knowledge, and integrity in every search.

Driven by a genuine belief that recruitment is about relationships, not transactions, Megan enjoys supporting lawyers through key career decisions and helping clients build strong, future-ready legal teams.

Before joining Marsden in 2017, Megan built and led the in-house division of a London recruitment firm. She began her career as a paralegal in the UK Treasury’s Employment team after reading Law at Bristol University.
