Steve Salem is a London-based legal recruitment consultant at Marsden, specialising in partner recruitment, associate hiring, and legal search for international law firms across the EMEA region. He works closely with leading firms on their strategic hiring needs, advising on both immediate recruitment priorities and longer-term talent strategies.
His work spans multiple jurisdictions, including the United Kingdom, the Gulf—with particular experience in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)—and key European centres such as Paris and Brussels. His cross-border expertise provides both clients and candidates with clear insights into regional dynamics and the evolving legal market.
Before joining Marsden, Steve gained experience at a long-standing legal search firm and broadened his international perspective by working in Shanghai with China’s largest law firm. His exposure to a variety of global legal markets continues to shape his advisory approach today.
