Gillian Morgan
Senior Consultant
Gillian is a Senior Consultant in our US team. She specialises in placing lawyers at all levels into leading law firms across all major legal markets in the USA. She is experienced in running contingent searches and exclusive multi-hire retained projects from Associate to Counsel level.
Before joining Marsden, Gillian spent five years recruiting lawyers from across the globe into top US, international and top UK law firms in London. With her international background, Gillian is able to tap into her global legal network and her intricate knowledge of foreign legal markets to offer US based law firms access to an international pool of talent. Gillian is also uniquely placed to partner with our UK team to advise our US law firm clients as they seek to launch and/or expand their legal offerings in the UK.
Gillian plays a key managerial role in our US team. She is experienced and passionate about training and supervising junior recruitment consultants, researchers and support staff. She has years of experience developing new business and strategically works with our wider leadership team to strengthen and grow our offering to our clients.
Before moving into recruitment, Gillian was an attorney in Scotland specializing in criminal defense work. She studied law at the University of Glasgow.
