Kate is a senior in-house legal recruiter with 20 years’ experience.
Kate focuses on legal roles in commerce and industry, with a particular emphasis on the TMT sector. She advises lawyers ranging from general counsel/heads of legal through to senior legal counsel, legal counsel and compliance lawyers.
Her approach is simple, listening to and understanding both the client and the candidates’ requirements. Kate understands that technical skills are important but that cultural fit is imperative. She acts as an advisor to both parties, collaborating with all involved to ensure a smooth and effective process.
Kate started her career in London recruiting interim lawyers into private practice. She moved to Dubai in 2008 and shifted her focus to in-house recruitment, placing lawyers at all levels. During her career, she has recruited across a wide variety of sectors including TMT, FMCG and real estate, acting for clients including multinationals, sovereign wealth funds and family offices. She has recently moved back to London to focus on the UK in-house market.
